Yamazumi chart [TP]

A stacked bar chart that shows the cycle time for each step in a process (or operation), distinguishing within each cycle time its value-added component from its non-value added component. It is a visual tool that shows which steps can be done within or exceed the takt time and which cycle time may be improved.
